- pisador
- friccion
- springback
- fuerza de retención
- tailor weld parts
- drawbeads
- punch force
- pressure pad
Cómo funciona FastForm Advanced?
FASTFORM Advanced uses Finite Element Analysis to simulate the forming process in reverse, starting with the part and finishing with the blank shape. It then measures the deformation to determine how much the part will thin out and if it will split or wrinkle.
FASTFORM Advanced considers the user-defined material properties, friction, blankholder forces, drawbeads, pressure pads, constraints and press direction when calculating the deformation
FASTFORM Advanced produces graphical plots to simplify the interpretation of the results
Funciones
Simple and Logical User Interface - Designed for immediate productivity through a familiar Microsoft Windows environment and excellent on-line help
Materials Database - Built in materials database provides access to common materials for immediate analysis. Materials can be added, deleted or modified in the database. For improved accuracy user defined forming limit and stress-strain curves can be loaded.
Geometry Tools - Extensive set of easy to use tools for modifying and repairing imported IGES surfaces
Automatic Meshing - Powerful mesh generator removes complexity from the FEA process. Capable of filling holes, offsetting to the neutral fiber and displaying undercut elements
Tipping - Automatic and manual orientation of the part into the press direction
Fast solver - Most parts can be solved in minutes
Forming Conditions - Includes tools to simulate the effects of blankholder force, drawbeads and pressure pads
Constraints - Define specific displacement between the part and predicted blank
Section Lines - Create section lines on the part to track material movement or graph critical sections of the part
Curved Binder - Create or load a binder surface to create a more uniform draw depth
Springback - Determine the final part shape resulting from springback, with or without trimming
Tailor Welded Parts - Define additional materials for different areas of the part
Cut Off Dies - 5 standard blank outlines are available
Extensive Results - 6 main graphical plots are available for simple interpretation along with 18 additional plots for comprehensive analysis
Forming Limit Diagram - Plot the strains on a forming limit diagram to view the overall formability
Graphing - Graph critical sections of the part
Punch Force - Determine the punch force required to form the part
Exporting - The blank can be exported in IGES or DXF format for use in any CAD system. Results can be exported in Nastran or LS-DYNA format for use in other analyses.
Reports - HTML reports summarizing the on screen results can be printed and saved
Plotting - Plot a full scale version of the blank
